Q: What materials are your cake toppers made from?
A: All toppers are crafted from high-quality card-stock. All materials are food-safe and suitable for cake use but are not edible and hence, must be removed from the cake completely before consumption.
Q: What is the difference between a charm and a topper?
A: A charm comes without a stick and a topper comes on a stick. Charms often give more freedom in terms of decorating as you can insert them on the top, side, body or bottom of your cake. Toppers typically are placed just on top of the cake.
Q: Can I choose my own colour and design?
A: Most toppers can be customised and the extent to which this is possible is specified on each product page.
Q: Can you match my party theme or invitation design?
A: Yes. If you have a specific design, theme, or style in mind and cannot find a topper suitable for your needs on the site, please use the CUSTOM ORDER page to reach out to me and let's bring your idea to life.
Ordering & Personalisation
Q: How do I place an order?
A: Simply select your desired topper style and complete all other details as shown on the product page. If you've missed any information or I need clarification on any aspect, I would reach out to you within 24 hours of your order being placed.
Q: Can I make changes to my order after purchasing?
A: Because all toppers are made to order, I can only make changes within 12 hours of purchase. After that, production may have already begun.
Q: What if I make a mistake in the personalisation?
A: Please double-check all spelling and details before submitting. Unfortunately, I cannot offer refunds or replacements for customer input errors once production has started.
Shipping & Delivery
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: At the moment, we ship only within the UK and Europe.
Q: How long does delivery take?
• UK: 1–2 working days from dispatch (Royal Mail Post)
• Europe: 3–7 business days from dispatch
Processing time before dispatch is 2–3 working days (or 5 working days for whole toppers). Longer processing times may apply during busy periods (see page banner)
Q: Can I upgrade to faster delivery?
A: Yes. UK customers can upgrade to Guaranteed Next Day Delivery for £9.50.
Returns & Refunds
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: Unfortunately, returns, exchanges, or cancellations for custom-made items are not possible unless the product is faulty or not as described.
Q: What should I do if my topper arrives damaged or incorrect?
A: Please contact me within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. I’ll review your case and arrange a replacement or refund if applicable.
Other Questions
Q: How do I insert the topper into my cake?
A: Each topper comes with an acrylic stick. Some are pre-mounted on a stick and some have a special insert for the stick crafted into them. Simply insert it gently into your cake just before serving.
